Provided by AHIT. This online home inspection course contains very useful information regarding termites and other wood destroying organisms. The course is beneficial to individuals working in pest management, home inspection and urban foresters. This course covers insects and diseases common to wood. It covers a variety of different wood-infesting pests and provides comprehensive coverage of how to identify, and pest prevention and control. Included are examples and the biology of the insects.

State Requirements For Indiana

Home Inspection License Expiration: 10/1 every two years (odd)

Hours Required by the State: 32 hours every two years. Continuing education is comprised of two categories, Category I and Category II. The licensee shall obtain a minimum of 75% of the required amount of continuing education hours for renewal from Category I and may obtain a maximum of 25% of the required amount of continuing education hours for renewal from Category II.

Reporting: The state does not require schools to report course completions.

Expiration Date of Course: Course expiration dates vary by course. Each individual course will have an expiration date listed in your account. See Terms & Conditions for more details.

Certificates: Immediately upon course completions, AHIT will provide students with an electronic copy of the course certificate of completion. Certificates will remain in your account for a minimum of five years, should you need additional copies at a later time. Please refer to your application to determine if you need to submit your certificate(s) of completion. Course completion dates are recorded using Central Standard Time. Please note that the date on your certificate of completion will reflect this.
